Conservation and Resource Recovery,

Starts at Home.

Collect, Recycle and Help Protect Nature.

Bin Diversion Recycling and Salvaging believes separation-at-source collection methods, inside homes and businesses, are the most effective way to capture unwanted waste materials and resources for downstream recycling, and new-product development. Pre-sorted waste material is often cleaner and less contaminated, which helps to ensure these resources are high-grade for markets and not landfilled.

‘Waste haulers play a pivotal role by optimizing material collection and yield’

Why is recycling and resource recovery so important? MSW landfills throughout the world are filling up too quickly, reaching capacity, and producing methane gas which adversely impacts the environment and fuels climate change. Unregulated or poorly managed landfills, pollute the rivers and streams that flow into our oceans.

‘Recycling innovations and solutions are needed’

Some of the Earth's greatest landscapes are threatened by consumer behavior, unmanaged waste, and plastic pollution. For example, roughly 9% of all plastics produced in the world are recovered and recycled by the Solid Waste Management Industry! Plus, there’s an abundance of other single-use products, unsorted construction debris, and discarded merchandise or garments from impulse (purchasing) decisions going into landfills.
